We are looking for creative people to join our team on the following position:
PHP Software Engineer
You will be a part of the team that is researching new technologies and developing PSTech products. You will be given a chance to prove yourself as an engineer, while we would also expect of you to be proactive and suggest ideas for improving products that we are developing.
We expect of you to display initiative and focus on innovation, have strong research practices and deliver high quality software, on time. You should be able to work in an agile development process and employ best-in-class development practices such as version control, bug tracking, code reviews, design patterns, refactoring and unit tests. Additionally, you should be detail-oriented and thorough in your approach to research methodology, but flexible enough to work within time boundaries and product constraints.

But we set the bar high, here is what we expect:
• At least 3 years of experience with PHP
• At least 3 years of experience with OO programming
• Experience with Smarty template engine
• Experience with Javascript, jQuery, Ajax, HTML, CSS
• Experience with relational database management systems and SQL
• Writing high quality code
• Documenting code in accordance with standards
• Producing functional UI and practical solutions
• Experience with source control systems (Git, SVN, etc.)
• Passion and initiative for continual learning about new technologies and development approaches
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Following skills will be considered an advantage:
• Experience with Python
• Experience with Wordpress themes and plugins development
• Experience with PHP MVC frameworks (Zend, CodeIgniter, CakePHP, Fuel, etc.)
• Experience with HTML5 and CSS 3
• Strong mathematical skills
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Strong Linux OS experience
• Knowledge of REST Web services
• Experience with developing large-scale server applications
• Experience with NoSQL databases
